Milanese Suit of Armor

Based on a 15th century design from Italy. The surviving armor, called the "Avant", is currently housed in the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow. It was made at the Corio workshop in Milan, Italy around 1440.

Hand crafted from 16 gauge steel with 14 gauge steel helm, knees, and elbows. Fully articulated and wearable. Designed to fit someone around 6' tall with a 44"-48" chest.

This full suit includes the T face barbute helm, pauldrons, breastplate, arms, gauntlets, legs, and mail sabatons. It even includes a chainmail skirt of riveted flat ring construction. Complete with wooden base and stand.
