16th Century Italian Mace

The mace developed from man’s oldest weapon, a stone topped club, to an elaborate weapon that did not need to breach the armor to cause injury. To an unarmored opponent the mace was extremely debilitating, shattering limbs and crushing skulls. To an armored opponent the mace could crush armor and rupture organs with out breaking skin.

Hand crafted from high carbon steel with a blackened finish. Has an eight flanged head. Handle is wrapped in black leather.
