Brookhart Teutonic War Axe
Although the Teutonic Knights are well known for their activities in the Holy Land, both branches continued to be powerful for several centuries. They were even called upon to meet the Mongol hordes when they crossed the Danube river in 1241. The head is made from 5160 high carbon spring steel. The head is double pinned to the handle. Hardwood handle features a tacked leather grip and steel butt cap. Ships with a sharp edge. 27 1/2" overall. Blade is 7" by 6". Weighs around 3 pounds 1 ounce.
